Plantum is the branch association for the Dutch plant breeding and propagating sector. An association that represents the interests of the entire industry, as well as groups of members. The central focus is on consolidating the competitive position on an international level. Plantum stands for:
 

• An influential voice and professional discussion partner acting on behalf of approximately 400 members; 
• A common economic interest with a turnover amounting to approximately 2.5 billion euro; 
• A proactive representation of interests, both nationally and internationally; 
• Support provided by Plantum's own, expert policy advisors; 
• An extensive network covering political and other relevant stakeholders; 
• A knowledge and innovation platform; 
• Representation in countless external boards, committees and advisory bodies; 
• Representation in international organisations.

Plantum is an association with members and a secretariat. The association is comprised of a Governing board, thematic Standing committees and departments for Ornamentals, Agriculture, Vegetable seeds and Vegetable plants. These units all include various crops groups and working parties.
