Recommended list of varieties

The recommended list for agricultural crops contains a selection of varieties of arable and fodder plants which are considered important for cultivation in the Netherlands. These varieties have been extensively tested for VCU. The results are described in the list of varieties. Based on this information, growers can make a conscious choice for the varieties best suited to their particular growing conditions.
 
The recommended list is published by the Commissie Samenstelling Aanbevelende Rassenlijst (CSAR), an independent foundation whose board comprises representatives from the Product Board Arable Products, LTO Nederland and Plantum.
 
The recommended list is published under the responsibility of CSAR and is published in two editions:
