The seeds and young plants sector employs 15,000 people.

Good terms of employment are crucial: employees must be able to do their work in a healthy, vital and safe manner, with competitive wages. Attractive terms of employment help companies recruit competent and motivated employees. Plantum, together with other employer organisations, negotiates with the trade unions about the Collective Agreement for Greenhouse Horticulture and the Collective Agreement for Garden Seed Companies.

What you need to know

Five collective agreements have been concluded in the sector, with input from Plantum. Plantum also implements the BPL Pensioen pension scheme together with other employer organisations and trade unions.
